Getting in the Spirit

The kids and I spent an evening at the Festival of the Trees. We started at the gingerbread houses (their favorite part) and then continued on through rows and rows of beautiful trees. Here are some pictures of some of our favorites. The kids were tired and ready to quit after just a couple of rows, however and were fighting over who got to ride in the stroller. Cydnee just wanted to sit and watch the dancers and singers who were performing on stages nearby (not a popular idea for her brothers). We managed to get in the Christmas spirit a little bit and had a fun time.

This tree was called Kinetic Christmas and had balls that moved all throughout the wooden tree. So cool!
Maybe if we had a treee like this one, Dave wouldn't complain about decorating at Christmas time!
This was taken just as we were about to leave. Of course they were fighting me about taking pictures, so I said the quicker you stand there and smile, the sooner we'll get out of here. Are those some natural looking smiles or what? What we do for a picture, huh?

Love it. What a fun way to get in a little Christmas Spirit without having to bundle up!
